These Booking Terms should be read alongside our Retreat Terms & Conditions and Release of Liability. By submitting your booking form and making payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these documents.
Payment Policy
To reserve your place, a £900 Declaration of Interest deposit is required.
You may cancel within 7 days of making your initial payment and receive a full refund of your deposit. After this period, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
The remaining balance may either be paid in full or in accordance with the scheduled payment plan below.
If you book after one or more payment dates have passed, any outstanding instalments due at the time of booking must be paid before your reservation can be confirmed.

Missed Payments
If a scheduled payment is not received by the due date, we will issue a reminder and allow a further 14 days for payment.
If payment remains outstanding after this period, your booking will be cancelled and all payments received will remain non-refundable and non-transferable.
Because accommodation, transport and conservation experiences are secured well in advance, this policy is strictly applied.
Reserve List
Should the retreat become fully booked, additional enquiries will be placed on a reserve list in the order they are received.
If a place becomes available, you will be contacted and invited to confirm your booking within seven days.
Twin Share and Private Accommodation
The published retreat investment is based on twin share accommodation.
Private accommodation is available throughout the retreat for an additional supplement, subject to availability.
Guests travelling alone will be paired with another participant of the same gender unless private accommodation has been selected.
Flexible Payment Plans
If you would prefer to spread your payments across more frequent instalments, we are happy to arrange an individual payment schedule. The total balance must still be paid by the published final balance date.
Retreat Experience
This retreat is designed for participants with a basic understanding of Animal Communication.
You will gain the greatest benefit if you have previously attended a workshop with Pea Horsley or another reputable practitioner, completed an Animal Communication course, or have read Animal Communication Made Easy.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing by email.
Your cancellation is deemed effective once you have received written confirmation from Animal Communication Retreats Ltd.
There are no transfers or postponements to alternative retreats.
Following the initial seven-day cooling-off period, your £900 Declaration of Interest deposit becomes non-refundable.
Refunds for subsequent payments are calculated according to the schedule below.

Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is essential.
Your policy should include, as a minimum:
- Trip cancellation
- Medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- Personal belongings
- Travel disruption
- Cancellation for unforeseen circumstances
We strongly recommend purchasing a policy that includes Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) cover wherever available.
Insurance should be in place from the time of booking.
Additional Information
No refunds can be given for:
- Late arrival or early departure
- Unused accommodation or activities
- Missed flights or transfers
- Airline baggage restrictions or excess luggage charges
- Failure to obtain appropriate travel documentation
All additional costs arising from these circumstances remain the responsibility of the participant.
Photographic Release
During the retreat, photographs and video may be taken for future promotional use.
By participating, you consent to the use of images in which you may appear unless you notify us in writing before the retreat begins.
