By participating in the Orcas & Bears Wilderness Communication Retreat 2023, you agree to the following:
The first payment of £750 is accepted as a Declaration of Interest payment, this is a non-refundable deposit.
The schedule for payments are:
- First balance payment due no later than 7th December 2022: 50% of remaining balance
- Final balance payment due no later than 31 March 2023: 50% of remaining balance
If you miss a payment, we will remind you and give you a further 14 days to make the payment.
After 14 days of the missed payment, your place will be cancelled and any payments you made will be non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes the Declaration of Interest payment.
If your booking is received after one or more payment due dates, the full total of all payments for such due dates must be received before your booking is accepted. For example, if you book in January 2023, you would pay the Declaration of Interest payment and December balance payment together as one, then the following payment on the due date.
Once your registration form is received places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The first payment will be invoiced if your application is accepted. Further payments will be invoiced as described in the Payment Policy.
This investment is based on a twin share basis. Single supplement is additionally due for sole occupancy participation.
There is no formal teaching on this retreat. Please come with the foundation knowledge and experience, having attended an animal communication workshop or completed an online basics course with myself or another reputable animal communicator.
If you prefer a more regular payment plan we are happy to create that for you! The payment amounts will still be due by their stated dates, but we can offer smaller, more regularly invoices if that helps you.
Names and emails will be held and contacted on a first-come first-served basis when booking is open.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify us before the next payment date. Where possible we will try and transfer your place to another, or if you know someone who would like to take your place, please let us know.
If we are able to fill your place you will receive 75% refund of payments made by you once your replacement has paid in full.
This refund excludes payments made by you in order to fulfil your part of the trip including and not excluding international flight, travel insurance etc.
If there is no one to fill your place, you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid. You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance at a level suitable for all of the components of this trip before booking.
Places are non-transferable to other retreats, workshops, events.
For the avoidance of doubt, if you fail to make any payment by the due date we shall not be obliged to try to transfer your place.

No refund, unless your place is filled. If your place is filled, you receive 75% refund of monies paid.
We have calculated the refunds due based on the timetable for payment by Animal Communication Retreats Ltd to third parties including flights and accommodation costs.
If you pay any sums due before the due date, the refund policy shall continue to apply.
